In a backyard shack, Noah, Robert and Johnny, fueled by delusion and booze, would set in motion the beginnings of a band dedicated to raging music played at ridiculously fast tempos. Soon thereafter, Evan and David, realizing the follies of Punk and Jazz, took their positions at the mandolin and bass. At once a five headed stringband beast was born...the Porterbelly string band.
